The formulation used by Augustinus Bader for The Face Oil is based on high-quality plant oils and extracts. Among other things, the face care contains argan oil, which is known for its antioxidant effect and has a stimulating effect on the skin's cells, improving their ability to regenerate. Grape seed oil has a balancing effect on dry and blemished skin, soothes irritated skin and provides it with long-lasting moisture. Jojoba and babassu oil round off the mixture, supply the face with vitamins and minerals and nourish the skin without leaving it greasy. Extracts of horse chestnut, chamomile blossom and pomegranate seeds complement the antioxidant, soothing and smoothing effect of the oils. Facial oil should be used after thorough cleansing, toner and a serum. Apply a few drops of the oil to the face, neck and décolleté with your hands. However, you should avoid the eye area when applying the oil. Then massage the facial oil into the skin using gentle, circular movements. The massage stimulates blood circulation in the skin and the active ingredients penetrate even better. After applying the facial oil, you can also pamper your skin with a moisturiser suitable for your skin type and apply the desired make-up. The oil can be used daily, but two to three applications per week is sufficient for normal skin.
