Bond No. 9, a perfumery located in the centre of New York, is enjoying increasing popularity. With its unusual fragrances, the label is restoring artistry to perfumery – and marking every district with a scent of its own. Its heavenly fragrances are even being dedicated to parks and squares, hotspots and iconic streets. In so doing, this unique collection of unisex, men’s and women’s fragrances is reflecting the lively metropolis in all its facets. In spring 2014, Bond No. 9 came up with something truly spectacular: for its new fragrance, the label took inspiration from a place that is still emerging. We’re talking about a wasteland area located on the west side of Manhattan, bordering the Hudson River, Hell’s Kitchen and Chelsea – Hudson Yards.
Women’s fragrances like Hudson Yards – simply fascinating
Women’s fragrances by Bond No. 9 are a unique perfume experience. One of these fragrances is Hudson Yards. In the top note, the aromas of innocent freesia and sensual lily of the valley, rounded off with a spicy hint of rose pepper. Only when the senses have been awakened does the gentle heart note of Hudson Yards reveal itself. The floral bouquet comprises Bulgarian rose and the delicate buds of the peony. The wine-like nuances of lychee make it even more seductive. In the long-lasting base note of the fragrance, woody citrus notes of orange blossoms mingle in turn with white musk and iris absolute. Just like the perfume, even the futuristic bottle reflects this special location. It comes in a vividly bright green and shimmers – when held against the light – in all its transparent greatness. The neck of the bottle is adorned by a flower shining in the same colour, which not only looks charming but also evokes the various floral notes of the fragrance.
