The Ridge Filling Base Coat smooths out rough or uneven areas on the surface of the nail. This base coat protects the nail against the penetration of dye from nail varnish and, at the same time, helps a second (coloured) coat of polish to adhere better. The base coat can also be used on its own as a protective polish and protects the nails from discolouration and drying out.
