The perfect 5-step routine for cared-for men’s skin

A good skincare routine is also important for men. Men’s skin is thicker than women’s, produces more collagen and the sebaceous glands are significantly more active. To combat blocked pores and spots, and to protect the skin best from environmental influences, we have put together a skincare routine for men’s skin.

Step 1: Cleanse the faceCleansing plays a decisive role in skincare for both men and women. In the morning, use a cleanser to cleanse your face. In the evening, cleansing enables you to free your skin from environmental influences so you can prevent impurities.Step 2: PeelsTo refine the complexion, you can use a peel one to three times a week. With the peel, you remove dead skin flakes and promote cell renewal.Step 3: Moisturising skincareFinally, supply your skin with moisture! Depending on the time of day, you can opt for a light day cream or a rich night cream,
Step 4: Eye creamsThe skin around the eye area on men’s faces is thinner, more sensitive and prone to losing elasticity more quickly. Special products are therefore even more important. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, panthenol and glycerin supply intense moisture, smooth the skin and support it by preventing wrinkles from forming.Step 5: SunscreenIf you start the day with this skincare routine, as a last step you should reach for a sunscreen. UV radiation is the main cause of premature skin ageing and therefore a daily sunscreen is important even in the winter months.
