    You should match the anti-dandruff shampoo to your hair and scalp. Products for oily hair are available as well as those for dry hair, but the application does not differ. Apply the anti-dandruff shampoo to damp hair and scalp. Massage it thoroughly into the entire scalp. To ensure that the active ingredients reach the scalp, the shampoo should be left on for about a minute.
