The Merchant of Venice presents an olfactory dedication to the unforgettable opera singer Maria Callas with this eau de parfum from the Murano Exclusiv collection. The visual appearance of the fragrance reflects Venetian craftsmanship, as each bottle is made of hand-blown Murano glass with a striking black and white wave pattern. A black ribbon on the neck of the bottle bears the brand name in white letters, while a hemispherical cap elegantly completes the design. The composition itself opens with a lively freshness, characterised by Italian lemon and mandarin, which meets the piquant spiciness of black pepper from Madagascar. As the fragrance progresses, a multi-faceted heart unfolds, combining green accords with the delicacy of neroli blossom and a fruity nuance of rose and blackcurrant. The base of the fragrance, which combines warm cedarwoods from Texas and Virginia with amber and the modern notes of Akigalawood™ and Georgywood™, ensures depth and consistency. Created by perfumers Yann Vanier and Oliver Pescheux, this creation is characterised by a woody-citrusy character that is a harmonious accompaniment for both everyday wear and special occasions.
