The Valentino Donna Born In Roma Eau de Parfum Spray Purple Melancholia is an olfactory homage to the mysterious atmosphere of a Roman night. This composition from 2026 adds a facet to the well-known Born in Roma collection that focuses on introspection and evening elegance. The fragrance opens with a fruity accord dominated by notes of plum or mirabelle plum, creating a soft but present opening. A floral bouquet unfolds in the heart, combining nuances of osmanthus and jasmine absolute, which can lend the arrangement a warm, floral depth. The fragrance experience is rounded off by a base of Madagascar vanilla, which can leave a lasting and soft signature. Visually, the bottle reflects the theme: the glass is a deep purple colour and features the iconic Rockstud structure, whose pyramid-shaped fluting is reminiscent of Roman masonry. A black label with white lettering and a cap decorated with studs complete the design, which combines tradition and modern aesthetics.
