The Weleda arnica jelly is a practical companion for travelling or sports. This preparation is based on anthroposophical findings on the nature of humans and plants. Arnica (Arnica montana) is at the centre of the composition, whereby an extract from the whole plant is used. The gel formulation makes it easy to use as the texture is quickly absorbed and non-greasy. Application to the skin can produce a pleasant cooling effect, making the product an alternative to moist compresses. According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the jelly can be used to stimulate and harmonise metabolic and shaping processes in cases of tissue damage following mechanical impact, such as blunt injuries. It is applied externally to intact skin, whereby contact with open wounds should be avoided.
