The Eau de Parfum Spray 401 by BON PARFUMEUR was launched in 2016. The label categorises the spicy and woody unisex fragrance as oriental. Created by perfumer Nathalie Koobus, the fragrance with the epithets cedar, candied plum and vanilla is characterised by the aromas of cinnamon, incense and sandalwood, among others. BON PARFUMEUR also adds a sweetness to the spicy and woody aromas. You could also call the Eau de Parfum Spray 401 gourmand instead of oriental. Both are a perfect match. For an even more expressive presence, the fine niche label BON PARFUMEUR recommends layering the fragrance of Eau de Parfum Spray 401 with Parfum 001.
Orientally sweet and spicy, dark and mysterious like the night
Plums are rarely used in perfumery because their numerous flavours make it difficult to combine them into a harmonious fragrance. But BON PARFUMEUR has succeeded with the elegant, sensual, oriental yet everyday Eau de Parfum Spray 401. For men, the spice and wood take centre stage, while for women, the sweetness is gently framed by the woods. In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
