The COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid is a chemical exfoliant that has been specially developed to meet the needs of skin with irregularities or a rough texture. At the centre of the minimalist formula is a concentration of 7 % glycolic acid (AHA), which is known for its ability to support the process of removing dead skin cells on the surface. In addition, the formulation uses Pyrus Malus (apple) fruit juice instead of pure water to dissolve the ingredients in a natural base. Niacinamide and panthenol round off the complex and are designed to even out the appearance of the complexion and make pores appear finer. The liquid consistency makes the product easy to apply and is primarily intended for use in the evening. As alpha hydroxy acids can increase the skin's sensitivity to light, it is essential to combine the product with adequate UV protection the following day. Unnecessary additives such as parabens, sulphates or artificial fragrances were avoided during production, which reduces the list of ingredients to the essentials. The clear liquid comes in a simple bottle with a pump dispenser, which allows for hygienic dispensing.
