GUERLAIN’s Absolus Allegoria Ambre Samar Eau de Parfum Spray captures the mesmerising atmosphere of a night when a red moon lights up the sky. Inspired by this rare natural spectacle, an amber-scented fragrance unfolds, characterised by intense contrasts between light and dark. Created by perfumer Delphine Jelk, the composition plays on the depth of dark incense and the warmth of grey amber, brightened by an opulent accord of vanilla and honey.
The top notes bring together incense, almonds and cardamom, before the heart unfolds in all its splendour with a golden amber accord and davana. The base notes of benzoin, patchouli and tonka bean lend the fragrance a long-lasting depth. In harmony with nature, over 90% of the ingredients are of natural origin. The bottle is made from 15% recycled glass and, thanks to the removable atomiser, is refillable and easier to recycle.
