UV lamps are used to cure the polish on the nails more quickly. Some polishes even cure exclusively under a UV lamp.
To apply and set Striplac, the nails are first polished and painted with a thin layer of colour. Simply leave this to harden under the UV lamp for 60 seconds before applying the Striplac. Dry again - and your nails look like a pro.
There are UV lamps that you activate manually. You hold your fingers underneath, switch them on and the economical LED lamps do the rest. It's even easier with the automatic UV lamp, which recognises that a hand is present and starts irradiation automatically.
