The 1725 Casanova composition from Histoires de Parfums reinterprets the classic fougère theme in a particularly elegant and modern way. Fresh, invigorating accents of bergamot, lemon and grapefruit open the fragrance experience and combine harmoniously with a fine, unexpected note of liquorice. As the fragrance progresses, an aromatic heart unfolds in which classic lavender meets the spicy note of star anise, giving the eau de parfum a fascinating depth. This creates a balance between the initial citrus nuances and the gourmand elements that follow, giving the fragrance a pleasant sophistication. The creation ends gently and consistently in a soft base of sweet vanilla and almond, which is underlined by precious woods such as sandalwood and cedar as well as ambergris.
