Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent is a fragrance composition that has been recognised for its unmistakable presence since its launch in 1981. The fragrance belongs to the aromatic fougère family and was created by perfumer Pierre Bourdon. The olfactory experience opens with a top note in which aldehydes meet the spicy notes of coriander and sage and the freshness of bergamot. At the heart, a complex interplay of clove, patchouli and cinnamon unfolds, complemented by floral accents of jasmine and geranium. The base note gives the fragrance its depth and long-lasting character through a combination of honey, leather, tonka bean and amber. The base is rounded off with musk, moss and a hint of vanilla. This composition creates a sensual, spicy fragrance that is particularly suitable for the evening hours and the cooler months of the year.

    In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
