The face firming gel from the Strengthening Intensive Care range has a smooth texture that is quickly absorbed. In the transparent bottle with the silver-coloured pump top, the yellowish colour of the contents really stands out. The formulation is based on selected botanical ingredients that are specially tailored to the needs of more demanding skin. A key ingredient is horsetail extract, which is traditionally valued for its astringent properties and can help to make facial contours appear firmer. The formula also contains lesser celandine. This active ingredient can harmonise the appearance of the skin, especially if there is slight redness or fine veins. Annemarie Börlind attaches great importance to purity and consistently refrains from using animal extracts, silicones and mineral oil derivatives such as paraffins. Aluminium salts and genetically modified plants are also not included in the composition. Ideally, the gel should be applied to cleansed skin in the morning and evening, forming a base for the subsequent day or night cream.
