The tangy scent of the citrus fruit yuzu, which has been cultivated in the middle Yangtze basin in China for thousands of years, is skilfully combined with bergamot and Szechuan pepper in a sparkling top note in the home fragrance from the Acqua di Parma Home Collection. These are joined by lotus, mimosa, violet leaves and jasmine in the heart note and a base note of musk, liquorice and sandalwood. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
