How to use the scented candles from BON PARFUMEUR correctly
: Never leave the candles burning unattended and always place them on a non-flammable surface. After you have lit a candle for the first time, you should wait until the top layer of wax has melted to the edge of the glass before extinguishing it. This will prevent the inside of the candle from burning faster than the edge. You can prevent the candle from burning too quickly by shortening the wick. The candles are supplied in stylish jars labelled "BON PARFUMEUR Paris 05 Figue Verte Myrrh Cèdre". Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
