Goldwell Play Semi Permanent Hair Colour Oxidant-Free

Elumen Play makes it easy to achieve creative colour changes in a variety of ways. This semi-permanent colour treatment contains no oxidising agents or ammonia whatsoever, relying instead on a physical mechanism of action. Thanks to its acidic pH value, the colour pigments adhere to the hair without chemically breaking down its structure. Its creamy consistency makes application to dry, clean hair a pleasant and precise process, with no need for a separate developer lotion. A key feature is the so-called ‘True-to-Tone’ behaviour, which ensures that the shades retain their original character as they gradually fade out, rather than changing colour in an undesirable way. The colour lasts for around 10 to 15 washes, depending on hair texture and the chosen intensity. In addition, the special formulation can provide exceptional shine and leave hair feeling supple. The wide range of available shades, which extends from soft pastels to vibrant colours, can be mixed together and allows for personalised adjustments to suit any look. Should you wish to change your colour again, the system is designed to offer maximum flexibility.

Before applying a hair tint, moisten your hair and then lightly towel-dry it. Then put on the gloves that come with the tint and apply the paste to your fingers. The hair colour is then worked in from the roots to the ends. You can spread the colour through your hair with your fingers or with a comb. The result is more even if the colour is distributed with a comb. The colour remains in the hair for around 20 to 30 minutes to achieve the desired result. The hair is then rinsed until clear water can be seen. After tinting, the hair is not washed for 24 to 48 hours.
