This composition of purely plant-based oils was specially developed for the care of perineal tissue in the weeks leading up to labour. Finely balanced almond oil and vitamin E-rich wheat germ oil form the rich basis of this formula, which is complemented by jojoba and sesame oil. This combination aims to keep the tissue soft and supple through regular massages. Consistent use can increase the elasticity of the skin and prepare it for stretching during labour. The care routine is accompanied by a delicate, floral fragrance composed of natural essential oils such as clary sage, geranium and rose. We recommend starting the massages from around the 34th week before the due date. Just three to four applications per week, each lasting five to ten minutes, can be enough to loosen the tissue. The brown 50 ml glass bottle from the Weleda Mama range protects the contents and provides a generous amount for this limited period. The product is based on 100% natural ingredients and is completely free from synthetic additives, which is in line with the brand's holistic approach.
