5 steps to your home spa moment

Step 1: Ambience
Create a relaxing atmosphere by adding essential oils to a diffuser or lighting a scented candle. Play some soft music in the background as the soothing scents fill the room.

Step 2: Freshness
Treat your skin to a moisturising face mask or eye pads and leave on for a few minutes.

Step 3: Relaxation
Fill your bath with warm water and add some bath products or a nourishing bubble bath. If you don’t have a bathtub, you can still treat yourself to a relaxing shower. Lather up with a scented shower gel, followed by a gentle peel to soften your skin and help it to regenerate.

Step 4: Massage
After a bath or shower, your muscles are warm, making it the ideal time for a massage. Use a high-quality body oil and start with gentle pressure, moving slowly to release any tension in your neck, shoulders and hands
PS: This step is even more effective when shared with another person.

Step 5: Unwind
Make yourself a cup of tea and read a book or write in your diary or journal. To gently bring the day to a close and prepare for a restful night’s sleep, make a conscious decision to turn off your TV, phone and other distractions.
